It’s been 14 years since Ashanti debuted to the world with her self titled album in 2002 and the former Murder Inc first lady is looking back and celebrating a major feat in her career. The singer previously made the Guinness Book of World Records for the fastest selling debut album from a female artist ever.

The album sold over 503,000 copies in its first week of release. The project was spearheaded by the hit singles “Happy,” “Foolish,” “Always on Time,” and “Baby”. In the same week, she became the first female performer to simultaneously hold the top two places on the Hot 100 Singles Chart with “Foolish” and “Whats Luv” with Fat Joe.

The singer took to Instagram this week to celebrate the 14 year anniversary and thank her fans for their support over the years.
