Today (Aug 25) Aaliyah‘s fans, friends, family and peers are remembering her and honoring her on the 15th anniversary of her passing.
Following touching tributes from Missy Elliott and Timbaland, as expected, Beyonce also took to social media to pay homage to the fallen angel.

The ‘Formation’ performer took to Instgram to share a clip of the two together. The clip comes from the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards, just a year before Aaliyah passed.
Beyonce was serving as a red carpet correspondent, and Aaliyah was there to promote her hit film ‘Romeo Must Die.’ Get into the clip below.
