Kelly Rowland is four albums in and for whatever reason none have grabbed the masses and made a huge impact as one would expect for 1/3 of the worlds biggest girl group.
She always has the right first single, super sexy videos with respectable budgets, the anticipation is there, and the album’s deliver with great material, but somehow something gets lost in translation which equates to low sales.
So now with Kels a free agent and working on her new album, the ‘Commander’ singer is eying her prospects to help craft what will probably be her most important project to date.
During a recent interview with Billboard, Kelly revealed that she is calling in some of the big guns to ensure this album brings the heat:
“Pharrell is on board. We already talked about it. I’d love for Timbaland to be on board. We’ve had discussions as well,” she continued to share. “I want to try to some new talent as well. There’s so much new talent… There’s somebody out there with something new to give and I’d love to tap into that as well.”
