Not only did this past weekend serve as Memorial Day weekend, but it also kicked off gay pride season across the globe in DC, Miami and other areas.
It was in Puerto Rico that R&B legend Brandy was honored as part of the pride festivities hosted by Xscape Puerto Rico. The singer received the Vanguard Award, and even took to the stage to deliver a performance of her ‘Never Say Never’ hit, ‘Almost Doesn’t Count.’
