We previously told you HERE that Brandy is headed to Broadway for eight weeks in the role of Roxie Hart for Chicago, the second longest running show on Broadway after ‘Phantom of The Opera’.

Now the singer sat down with ‘Vanity Fair‘ exclusively to dish on the role and joining the legendary show. She also looks gorg in new shots caught by photographer Jason Bell. Check out some of the excerpts from the interview below.

On the similarities between she and Roxie Hart

“Roxie is really tough, but she’s really sweet. And I feel like I’m the same way. I can be really tough, and stand up for myself and speak my mind, and then I’ll bake you a cookie,”

On the endurance training she’s been doing for the role

“I like tennis, boxing. I like to do things that don’t remind me of the gym,” she said. “I kick ass in tennis, too. If I started at like five, I could probably go pro!”

On how Broadway will differ from television, concert, and film she has done

“I’ve had experience acting in front of an audience,”  “but nothing where it’s live every single night. It’s completely different from anything I’ve ever done. And I still have no idea how it feels because I haven’t done the show yet! It’s all in my imagination.”
