Cardi B‘s reign continues after making history last week as the second female rapper to earn a No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 with no features, the Bronx rapper holds down the top spot for a second week with ‘Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).’
The second week retention now ties her with Lauryn Hill, who also led the Hot 100 for two weeks with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in 1998, according to Billboard. Cardi took to Instagram to thank fans for a second week at No.1.
She also has promised to drop a new freestyle on her birthday (Oct. 11) as a gift to fans. Stay tuned.
