After snagging the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, ‘Bodak Yellow‘ has earned Cardi B her first gold plaque. The news was confirmed via Billboard, and the news comes on the heels of Cardi announcing her debut album will arrive this October.

Cardi’s infectious hit has garnered praise from a slew of artists, many of whom opened their platform to allow the rapper to perform her track. Drake brought her out during his OVO Fest in Toronto, Migos invited Cardi to their Veld Festival set and 21 Savage welcomed her to his stage at one of his recent shows. A Brooklyn elementary school teacher recently went viral for remixing “Bodak Yellow” to help her geography students retain information.
