Jay-Z has proven once again why he is the GOAT of Hip Hop, thanks to his new album ‘4:44.’ The album which arrived only five days ago, has now been certified platinum, making it his 13th platinum solo album.
“[JAY-Z] has earned 13 Platinum solo studio Album awards, more than any other hip-hop artist in @RIAA Gold & Platinum history,” tweeted Roc Nation on Weds. (July 5).

The news comes despite the fact that the album was a Sprint and TIDAL exclusive. However, the album is reportedly set to be released on iTunes and Apple Music this Friday with a physical release is also expected at a later date.
