K.Michelle dropped her latest album More Issues Than Vogue and now the final numbers are in for the third studio release from the singer. The set arrived on March 25 and with the help of singles “Not a Little Bit,” “Mindful,” and a few other teasers from the album, as well as her VH1 reality show “My Life,” the singer has ushered in at the #2 spot via Billboard.

Coming in at No. 2 on the new Billboard 200 chart is K. Michelle with More Issues Than Vogue (59,000 units; 54,000 in pure album sales). The start matches her high-water mark on the list, first achieved with her debut effort, Rebellious Soul, when it opened at No. 2 on the Aug. 31, 2013 list. More Issues Than Vogue is the singer’s third top 10 effort. Following Rebellious Soul, she notched a second top 10 with Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? in 2014 (debuting and peaking at No. 6).

Congrats to K on another successful album, but there might be one person who is not here for K or her album at this time. K. Michelle has been on a promo trail for the album and made her way to DC this week and made several appearances but reportedly missed one at event and it has set another fellow female singer off.

Reportedly, Michelle refused to show up to a planned breakfast with some of her biggest fans in DC and The Fam in the Morning with QuickSilva and Lil Mo.  Listeners showed up to Radio One DC and thought it was an April Fool’s joke when informed that their favorite artist was a no-show. Reps say K. Michelle not being able to sleep in a 5-star hotel is what deterred her so once the shows host Lil Mo took to the air to address the matter, she decided to go in on the singer/reality star.
