Fans of legendary girl group TLC have been waiting tirelessly for new music. Last year the group released ’20’ a greatest hits album to commemorate their 20 years in the business and that set also featured ‘Meant To Be’ the track that also appeared in VH1’s ‘Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story’.
Following the release Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas and Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins shared that the group was also working on a new studio album which would be released soon, in addition the ladies did spot dates on tour over the past few months, but still no music. Well now Chilli has revealed that the wait is almost over and fans could be receiving some new material as soon as the next few weeks. During an interview the sexy singer revealed:
I know, it is well overdue. We’re going to talk about this really soon. We have a lot of information we’re about to get out there. We were hoping it would happen a couple weeks ago, but things got changed and it was out of our control. People will get those answers very soon.
Their new project will be their fifth studio album and the follow up to 2002’s double platinum ‘3D’.
