On Wednesday morning R&B singer Ciara paid a visit to “CBS This Morning” and sat down with Gayle King and co. and had a discussion about the recent headlines surrounding her relationship with Russell Wilson and the disdain her ex Future has regarding their son being around her new beau.

As widely reported previously, Future slammed Ciara in an interview with “The Breakfast Club” and on Twitter for allowing her Seattle Seahawks boyfriend to be so close to their one year old son – Future Zahir after a snap of Russell and Future Zahir hugging during NFL training camp hit the net.

The biased sentiment was also echoed by Atlanta rapper T.I. and other males in the industry and on social media alike. Many critiqued Ciara’s decision to bring her new man around her child so soon while others objected that there is a double standard with men and women when it comes to the subject.
