Ciara has landed a spot on a new primetime series coming to NBC this summer hosted by funny man Marlon Wayans. According to Variety, the network will air six episodes of “I Can Do That,” an unconventional variety show that will challenge its celebrity cast members to stretch beyond their comfort zones by putting on a new act each week.

Each week, the regulars will work in pairs to put on an act with the help of guest stars who work in other fields, such as magicians, acrobats and stunt performers. At the end of the six episodes, one of the regulars will be crowned “the ultimate entertainer.”

In addition to Ciara, the regulars are “Dancing With the Stars” alum Cheryl Burke; singers Joe Jonas, Nicole Scherzinger; comedian Jeff Dye; and actor Alan Ritchson.

“The cast is amazing. It’s going to be a lot of fun to work with people whose work I admire and to see them in a different light. Who wouldn’t want to work with Ciara, Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Burke? And my daughter said if I don’t do a show with a Jonas brother, don’t come home.” said host Marlon Wayans.

The series is set to air this summer, while Ciara’s new album ‘Jackie’ is also due this summer reportedly. She just shot the video to her first single ‘I Bet’ which should be out soon.
