Although the current season of ‘Scandal’ is still airing, the cameras have reportedly already started rolling for season 5 of the hit show and a potential spoiler has been leaked. Courtesy of The YBF some exclusive snaps caught Kerry Washington on the set of the show filming today (March 19) and she wasn’t alone.

After his first appearance on the show a few weeks ago, actor Cornelius Smith, Jr. will be returning to the series next season in his role of Marcus Miller. You may remember Smith played Miller, a Washington, DC community based activist on the episode on episode 14 of this season titled ‘The Lawn Chair’ where a young black man was murdered in the streets by police who attempted to cover it up. Marcus was an activist who showed up and gave Olivia a little fight, and challenged her “black card”

We said then that Cornelius should join the show, perhaps as a new gladiator (Columbus Short’s replacement). It appears as though he has, based on the new snaps below of him standing at a podium as Olivia looks on from behind. No word on what capacity he will return or if he is indeed a new gladiator or not but its enough to get us excited for season 5.
