Tyga has had some bad luck in recent times from his issues with his former label Young Money, to his most recent financial issues including his extremely high overdue rent payments as previously reported. Then just last week he had not one, but two cars reportedly repossessed.
Well now the rapper might have found his savior in Kanye West, as it is being reported that he has signed Kylie Jenner’s beau to his ever growing G.O.O.D. Music label.
The news came via an impromptu concert at New York’s Highline Ballroom on Wednesday night thrown by West, where he welcomed Tyga and fellow rapper Migos to the label.
Outside of the obvious family connection, (Tyga dating Kanye’s sister in law) the two have collaborated in the past. Kanye executive produced Tyga’s 2015 project, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.
Tyga’s first single under the label is titled “Gucci Snakes” and is a collaboration with Desiigner. The track is set to hit Apple Music tonight. Get into both announcements below.
