Riri later took to Instagram to seemingly confirm the news by sharing her definition and meaning behind ‘Anti’. No word on release date yet. According to reports:
The cover is a childhood photo of the singer on her first day of daycare. She collaborated with artist Roy Nachum, who distorted the image, added a gold crown over her eyes, and painted over in red and white. The back cover features the same photo shot from the back.
“I fell in love with it because I felt like there was another spirit, another layer to the art,” Rihanna told the crowd. “This is my favorite album cover I’ve ever done.”
