Just a week ago, we saw Nicki Minaj fall to the floor and bow at Lauryn Hill’s feet backstage during the Tidal X 10:15 charity concert. This was an interesting move considering Nicki has been publicly ridiculed for not showing love to other female rappers, or acknowledging those female MC’s that came before.
Well somehow, Foxy Brown has used this moment as a chance to throw shade at long time nemesis, Lil Kim. Foxy took to her Instagram on Sunday (Oct. 23) and shared the video of Nicki and Lauryn, alongside a shady caption that has people talking.
“I laugh when they say she never gives it up the greats cause she’s humbly bowed to both L Boogie (my fave) and Fox boogie publicly,” Brown captioned. “Maybe y’all mad b**ches just aren’t who she considers “The Bar.” Lovers of hip hop knew this was a clear jab at Kim, however Foxy also may have taken a jab at Remy Ma as well?
I told you HERE just days ago as well that Nicki revealed that she had done a record with Foxy and Remy Ma, and that the collaboration was on hold but may soon see the light of day. This sent fans into a frenzy. However, Foxy’s caption somewhat alluded that she would not be participating in a collaboration with Remy.
