Could Cardi B be making her way into Prime-time TV for a sitcom? If Fran Drescher has her way then yes. The actress recently revealed her plans for a reboot of her popular hit 90’s show ‘The Nanny.’ On the top of her list to join the cast, none other than Hip Hop’s hottest female.

“I wanna do a sitcom with Cardi B,” Drescher said on PeopleTV’s “Chatter” on Wednesday. “Wouldn’t she be great as my daughter?”

“I’m totally down with doing it,” she said when asked about giving “The Nanny” another go. “I don’t know what is going on with some of these networks out there because they do not seem to be hip to the fact that there’s an obsession amongst millennials for the show and moi!”

Her idea to team up with Cardi B came when the rapper stepped out in leopard print during Milan’s Fashion Week and gave Drescher a shoutout on Instagram.

“I was so flattered,” she said. “I just thought she paid homage to me wearing animal print and said ‘Fran Drescher.'”

“And then I got my juices flowing and thought, ‘Wait a minute, she’s from New York, we both have funny voices, she could be my daughter!'” Drescher continued. “Not from me and Mr. Sheffield, I would have to have a man of color. I’m down with the brothers.”

“The Nanny,” starring Drescher as a cosmetics saleswoman who becomes nanny to three children of a widowed British Broadway producer, aired for six seasons on CBS until 1999. She said back in June that she and the show’s co-creator, Peter Marc Jacobson, were “talking about” reviving the series as other older shows make a comeback, but there are currently no confirmed plans that it’s happening.

25 years after it premiered, though, Drescher said, “People really love that show. It’s unreal.”

In other Cardi news, the rapper is celebrating her 26th birthday today. Happy B-Day Queen!
