Here For It: FX Announces ‘Atlanta’ Season 2 Premiere Date, Now Titled ‘Atlanta Robbin’

After a highly successful season 1 of the Donald Glover’s hit FX series, ‘Atlanta‘ last year, the show was immediately renewed for a second season, but production was put on hold to accommodate Glover’s schedule.

Well now fans will no longer have to wait as it was announced that the series season 2 now has a premiere date. Season 2 is now dubbed, ‘Atlanta Robbin‘ and is set to return Thursday, March 1, at 10 p.m.

Season 1 was highly successful and garnered several honors including winning the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series, while Glover won Emmys in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series categories. The show also won two Golden Globes, an NAACP Image Award, and a Peabody, among others.
