Sunday night was the night of black excellence, as the 2017 Golden Globes aired, and several of our fave shows, films, and actors scored big in some major categories.

In what was probably the highlight of the night, 44-year-old actress, Tracee Ellis Ross took home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy at tonight’s ceremony.
With her win, Tracee becomes the first black woman since Debbie Allen in 1983 to win in this category

Viola Davis snagged the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture at tonight’s ceremony for her breathtaking work in the film ‘Fences’.
