Jermaine Dupri is keeping it all the way real with his long time friend and collaborator Mariah Carey on the status of her career. During an interview with Hip Hollywood the music vet expressed his thoughts on MC and her lack of seriousness as it pertains to her career.

“It’s some artist that’s out there that ain’t as serious as they’re supposed to be, and I think sometimes Mariah don’t take it as serious as she should,” he shared.

“Sometimes the media is a little too hard on Mariah, but I think sometimes she has to pay attention to that and say, ‘Imma a be a 100 times more serious than I feel like being right now.'” he continued
