No extended roll out for Kendrick Lamar! Just weeks after dropping his first teaser of new music, followed by the controversial single and visual ‘Humble,’ now King Kendrick has announced his forthcoming album.
A pre-order went to iTunes on Thursday night revealing the official release date of next Friday (April 14). The 14-track set still does not have a title or tracklist and is simply listed as “ALBUM” with a black cover.
The set will serve as the follow-up to 2015’s Grammy-winning ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ and will arrive ahead of his headlining Coachella set. Lamar is scheduled to close out both weekends of the desert festival on April 16 and 23.
