Kendrick Lamar Lands First Solo Billboard Hot 100 with ‘HUMBLE.’ & Dethrones Ed Sheeran ‘Shape of You’

Kendrick Lamar has the No. 1 album in the country as I told you, now the rapper also has the No. 1 song in the country as well.

HUMBLE.’ which is the lead single off of his ‘DAMN.’ album, just took the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 making it his first No. 1 as a lead artist on the Billboard chart. It’s his second overall Hot 100 No. 1, as his 2015 collaboration “Bad Blood,”with Taylor Swift also hit No. 1.

The controversial track debuted at No. 2, then shifted to the No. 3 spot,  and now with its No. 1 spot it has dethroned Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.” The track earned a massive 67.4 million U.S. streams for the week ending April 20.
