Bravo’s hit show ‘Married To Medicine‘ is currently in full swing of filming it’s sixth season and from all accounts from the cast who have been teasing fans, the new season will be one of THE best yet. We can expect some explosive drama and some major shockers to be exposed when it returns in a few months.
Fans can also expect M2M OG, Mariah Huq to return to the series as a full time cast member for the first time five years. Mariah was the matriarch and main cast member for the first two seasons, but was later phased out as a “friend” of the cast for the past few years although she remained listed as an executive producer of the show.
Well Mariah took to Instagram over the weekend to reveal that fans who have been rooting for her to get her full time status back (and appear in the opening cast credits), will finally get their wish.
The new season is set to premiere later this year and a season trailer should be arriving within the coming weeks. We’re sure it’s going to be one for the books.
In other M2M news, it looks like Bravo is taking the franchise on the road and has announced it will now be following a new set of African American doctors and doctors wives for the soon to be released ‘Married to Medicine: Los Angeles‘ which will premiere later this year.
The new series, which is set to premiere at a later date, will follow the fierce and fabulous lives of a group of friends who live, work, and play in Hollywood’s African American medical community. When these doctors aren’t saving lives, you can find them living lives akin to A-List celebrities in the City of Angels. High-pressure jobs and relationships definitely make for a lot of drama, as we’ve already seen on Married to Medicine.
This is the latest installment of the fan-favorite Married to Medicine series, joining Married to Medicine, which chronicles the lives of those in Atlanta’s African American medical community, and Married to Medicine Houston. Bravo has also recently announced that Married to Medicine will return for Season 6 at a later date.
