They always say better late than never right? That analogy is certainly fitting as it pertains to the Keyshia Cole and Michelle Williams drama.

Fans will remember that Keyshia endured a tsunami sized proportion of backlash after tweeting the following comments during the Destiny’s Child reunion during Beyonce‘s superbowl Halftime Show this past February

keyshia4Immediately after many fans took to Michelle’s defense, and a firestorm of negative tweets and responses came Cole’s way. Although her fellow DC sister Kelly Rowland took her defense, for the most part Michelle remained relatively silent on the issue.  That is until now, on Friday Williams sat down with HuffPost Live’s Marc Lamont Hill and addressed the issue during her interview(start at the 16:20 mark)

Well Cole must have seen or heard about the interview, as she was prompted to tweet Michelle this Sunday evening with a long overdue apology of sorts. Peep below as well Michelle’s response.

Though a positive gesture on Cole’s part, the tone and defensiveness still rubs the wrong way, which is probably why her last question went unanswered by Michelle. Generally, an apology is just I apologize(period) not I apologize, BUT can you admit….anyway, best of luck to both of the ladies in moving forward.
