There is much unrest and tension down in Ferguson, MO over the murder of 18 year old Mike Brown. Wednesday afternoon during a segment of live coverage on CNN live from the scene, news anchor Don Lemon got to feel a little bit of that tension. After being pushed by police earlier in the week and confirming overhearing police refer to the protesters as the N-word, Don was challenged from someone other than the police.

Rapper/activist Talib Kweli was on the ground in Ferguson showing support for the Brown family and joining fellow protesters was invited on  the air to discuss his take on the situation and lending support, but the interview went totally left. Talib who felt he was being cut off by Don, proceeded to give him a verbal lashing LIVE on the air, and as the confrontation intensified, Talib called Don out for being shady behind the scenes.

Talib went on to say that before the cameras went on, he attempted to speak to Don only for Don to shun him and act as if he didn’t know who he was, by asking CNN producers how to pronounce the rappers name.

Check out the super awkward moment below.
