It’s been a little over two years since Diddy’s stepson Quincy dropped his debut single ‘Stay Awhile’ but now the son of Kim Porter and Al B. Sure is ready to return to his musical aspirations. Q paid a visit to the L.A. Leakers’ #LIFTOFF show to drop off his new single “Friends First” featuring French Montana.
“It’s a song about practicing being friends first,” “It’s not all about jumping into the sexual things or immediate relationships. It’s about taking your time with it.”
Diddy gave the song his stamp of approval. “I was gon’ release it in January or February, and then I played it for him and he was like, ‘Whoa. You got one. Let me just put my little touches on it,’” added Quincy.
Quincy also plans to release more singles reportedly and eventually will release a full length album in the spring. Check out the first taste of it below.
