Once again, CNN anchor Don Lemon has stuck his foot right in his mouth and now the people are over it and ready for his feet to get to walking.
Monday night (October 26), Don was joined on CNN by former federal prosecutor Sunny Hostin in a discussion about the now infamous Spring Valley High School assault video that has gone viral this week.
In the footage, a black student was brutally thrown to the ground from her desk by Richland County, S.C., Sheriff’s Deputy Ben Fields, a school resource officer. Fields then dragged the student across the floor and tossed around her classroom like a rag doll as her classmates watched and filmed.
Many folks are outraged at the use of excessive force for what reportedly was a simple request for the student to stop using her cell phone during a class test, a request to which the student reportedly denied which prompted the teacher to call for Deputy Fields to come to the classroom which ultimately led to foolishness we see in the footage.
During Don’s Monday night show, while airing the footage he tells commentator Sunny Hostin that he needed more information before “passing judgment”.
“We don’t know what happened. You weren’t sitting in the room, Sunny. You don’t know if she wasn’t standing up. You do need to know more, and as a prosecutor, you should want to know more,” Lemon said.

As a result of what many feel is Don’s long standing biased against the black community, many have taken to social media to express their displeasure once again! This time calling for Don’s firing from CNN via a rapidly growing petition via Change.org.
