N.E.R.D. fans like myself were treated over the weekend to a surprise from Pharrell Williams when the music genius unveiled a previously unreleased track “Locked Away” on his OTHERtone radio show on Beats 1 via Apple Music and also chatted with Tyler The Creator.
The uptempo number has been floating around online for quite a few years actually but Sunday was the first time Pharrell officially debuted it on the air. The track was originally meant for the group’s 2002 debut “In Search Of…” Get into the mellow track below.
