There have been mumbling for quite sometime that there was a new set of ladies coming to Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise, and now it has been revealed what city will now be joining the roster.

We told you HERE months ago that there was a planned “Real Housewives” show based out of the DC, MD, VA area although it was never confirmed if the show was actually going to be on Bravo or another network.

Well this weekend it was confirmed that the new show is NOT based in the DMV so that show may be headed to another network, but Bravo has enlisted a new crop of ladies from Texas. Via Entertainment Tonight:

ET confirmed on Friday that all the drama will be going down in the Texas city. Even better, the new installment of the Bravo franchise may be coming to TV earlier than expected, as filming has reportedly already wrapped!

“All of the filming has been done, and it will be announced soon,” a source confirmed to Us Weekly, which broke the story earlier today. This would mark the first time The Real Housewives filmed in the Southern state.

Bravo had previously announced Ladies of Dallas, a Ladies of London sister series, which ET confirmed to be in production earlier this year. Now, it looks like that show will air as part of The Real Housewives franchise.

Last week, talk show host and executive producer Andy Cohen teased a new show during an interview on Reality Checked With Amy Phillips on SiriusXM.

“I do [think there will be a new Housewives city], sooner than you think,” he said.

No word on an exact air date for “Real Housewives of Dallas” or who will complete the cast, but we will be on the lookout.

Elsewhere in Bravo, news season 6 of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is on its way back on December 1 and the network just unveiled the official trailer and cast photos.

This season, the crew — Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Yolanda Foster, Lisa Rinna, and Eileen Davidson — will be welcoming two newbies into the fold: Erika Girardi (also known as Erika Jayne and “one smart cookie,” according to Yolanda) and former model Kathryn Edwards, longtime friend of Lisa Rinna. Also making appearances are familiar faces Taylor Armstrong, Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, Brandi Glanville, Kim Richards, Faye Resnick, and the East Coast’s own Bethenny Frankel, as well as celeb cameos from Joe Jonas and Andrea Bocelli (“sur-prise!”).
