WeTV has been on the mark with their urban programming the past few years, kicking it off with ‘Braxton Family Values’, followed up by ‘Mary Mary’ which just started their third season and then rounding it off with the newest addition ‘SWV Reunited’.

All three shows have received critical and fan acclaim, and it has paid off as the network just announced that SWV and The Braxton’s will be renewed for new seasons. Although ‘Mary’ just started their new season 3, we are sure once it has concluded they will definitely get the good news as well.

The fourth season of ’Values’ will come back strong with a 26 episode run, while ‘SWV’ will return for an expanded 10-episode sophomore run. Peep the official press release from WeTV below:

“WE tv has become a true destination for quality unscripted originals on Thursday nights,” said Lauren Gellert, senior vice president, original production & development.  “These shows have played a significant role in expanding our audience, reaching new viewers, attracting advertisers and building momentum for the network, and we’re excited to give our viewers exactly what they want by bringing them back for fresh new seasons.”

The continuous growth and social buzz around Braxton Family Values has made it a signature show for WE tv.  The series spotlights the turbulent yet relatable relationships, careers and personal lives of sisters Toni, Tamar, Towanda, Trina and Traci Braxton and matriarch Miss E.  The most recent third season delivered an average of 1.4 million viewers.

WE tv’s latest hit show, SWV Reunited, averaged 1.2 million viewers over its initial six-episode run.  The show follows the dynamic relationship of Coko, Taj and Lelee of the 90s R&B group “SWV – Sisters With Voices” as they attempt to heal old wounds and regain their standing on top of the music charts”
