Let the Rihanna takeover commence.

The Barbadian beauty covers i-D magazine’s music issue in preparation for her 8th studio album due out very soon. The ever evolving fashion plate looks close to perfection rocking boxed braids and large hoop earrings a la’ 90’s street style chick. Little information is known about the new material, but its been rumored that Mike WiLL Made-It, Ne-Yo, DJ Mustard, Kiesza, Sam Smith and Rae Sremmurd are all a part of the project.

“She really is one of the most creative, talented and inspiring women I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with,” says i-D’s Fashion Director Alastair McKimm, who teamed up with Rihanna and Paolo Roversi for i-D’s cover shoot in Paris. “The energy and enthusiasm she brings is intense.
