Last year Jermaine Dupri held a 20 year anniversary celebration for his label So So Def Records, which launched such talents as Bow Wow, Da Brat, Kris Kross and R&B group Xscape. The group was scheduled to reunite at the event and hit the stage, however only two of the members showed, sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott.

Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris and Kandi Burruss who have both found major success post the group’s demise, were absent and Kandi addressed it during an appearance on the ‘Sway In The Morning’ radio show stating:

“I did have something else I had to do that weekend. I’m not trying do a reunion,” she admitted to Calloway. “I mean, no offense, but I don’t wanna be faking and have to rehearse together. Tiny and I, we get along great. But, I haven’t really talked to the other ladies in a long time, like long time.”

“Our group broke up like 18 years ago. But what I’m pissed off about happened more recent. You get what I’m saying? In the past, Tocha and I used to bump heads, but she’s not really who I’m (really) bothered by. It was Tamika that really pissed me off. She said some things about me. Some of the things she put out there, were straight up lies that she had made up.”

LaTocha who joined R&B Divas: Atlanta last season, and is rumored not to be returning to the show also addressed the group issues on her show. She also talked about the group drama during interviews and almost minimized past issues, including the fact that she publicly accused Kandi of sleeping with Jermaine Dupri and his father to get ahead in the group. However when questioned about Kandi’s feelings on not wanting a reunion she simply stated:

“My thing is the only unfinished business I can think of is the fact that we didn’t go onto the other albums that we were supposed to do. Other than that, I don’t understand where the unfinished business comes in at. I don’t know what she’s talking about.[…]We talk. I mean times you know…we kind of spread out. Everyone found out what life was like outside of the group so I don’t know. You know when she says unfamiliar business, I would have to talk to her.”

Well as Kandi stated above in the clip she would only be open to a reunion if the ladies were truthful and made things right with the things they had done to her. Well it looks like someone may have accepted her offer, and if reports are true the ladies will indeed reunite on national television. Singersroom is reporting that all of the members of Xscape are scheduled to reunite on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’. There is no word on when or how the reunion is set to take place, or what exactly the ladies will be doing but this is sure to make for some good TV. Hopefully the ladies can put all of their issues on the table, duke it out for the cameras and move on. Although Kandi and Tiny, are both doing extremely well for themselves and don’t need a reunion it would be good just to see the ladies together one last time.
