The #TimesUp movement continues to rattle it’s way through Hollywood as women begin to find their voices and make them heard loud and clear regarding equal pay, sexism, and male privilege.

ABC’s ‘black-ish‘ may be in trouble if the shows leading lady, Tracie Ellis Ross follows through with her promises to cut back screen time and possibly altogether, after finding out she is getting paid less than her co-star, Anthony Anderson according to  NY Daily News.

The 45-year-old actress reportedly threatened to cut back her appearances on the ABC sitcom over a lower salary than co-star Anthony Anderson, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Ross reportedly plans to make up the difference with appearances on other shows if the salaries aren’t evened out.

Anderson serves as an executive producer on the show as well as his starring role, which could account for some of the difference, a network source told the Hollywood Reporter.

Over the first four seasons of “black-ish,” both Ross and Anderson have been nominated for several Emmys and Golden Globes, but he has never won.

Ross won a Golden Globe for best actress in a comedy or musical TV series in 2017, becoming the first black woman to do so in 35 years.

The conversation about pay gaps arose amid reports that Mark Wahlberg earned 1,500 times more than Michelle Williams for reshoots on “All the Money in the World” after Christopher Plummer replaced Kevin Spacey.

Wahlberg eventually donated his $1.5 million paycheck to Time’s Up, a new initiative that aims to fight sexual harassment and assault in the workplace started by more than 300 Hollywood actresses. William Morris Endeavor, which represents both him and Williams, also donated $500,000.

If the network knows what’s good for them, they will get this straightened out IMMEDIATELY! We’re rooting for you Tracie!!
