Everyone’s favorite New York City style icon, Sarah Jessica Parker, is this month’s covergirl for Net-A-Porter’s digital magazine The Edit. The mother of three looks quite refreshing rocking some of the best springtime florals from designers such as Peter Pilitto, Erdem and Mary Katrantzou. Inside the pages, the private star talks about her love/hate of social media, the expectations of being a shoe designer and the art of being polite. Check out the excerpts below.
On social media:
“I was really afraid of social media. When I look at twitter I scroll with one eye open and one eye closed.”
How she feels since the launch of her shoe line for Nordstrom:
“My heart goes out to designers. The expectations, the demands they put on themselves.”
On mean girl behavior:
“I can’t stand it when women say unfriendly things to other women. Why does it have to be like that?”
