RHOA100

Monday brought with it quite a bit of Real Housewives of Atlanta news. Just moments ago we gave you the shocking news that the show’s OG veteran Nene Leakes has officially announced she is leaving the show after seven successful seasons.

Before her announcement arrived this evening, Bravo revealed today that it will be celebrating the show’s 100th episode with an exclusive Watch What Happens Live style special ahead of its season 8 premiere this fall. Via Bravo:

On July 12, the series will be celebrated with The Real Housewives of Atlanta: 100th Episode Watch What Happens Live Special. Andy Cohen and the cast are remembering some of the show’s biggest moments to date during a one-hour special. The ladies, past and present, will also discuss how being on RHOA has changed their lives.

Seven seasons will be remembered in all their glory through memorable clips and interviews with former and current Housewives, including Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Claudia Jordan, NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Deshawn Snow, Porsha Williams, and Kim Zolciak Biermann. Bravo will also pay homage to all things RHOA by rolling out fan-favorite episodes, reunions, and specials throughout the week of July 6. In other words, clear your schedule. Get into a sneak peek of the upcoming special below.

Two past cast members you won’t see on the show will be Sheree Whitfield and Lisa Wu. According to WetPaint:

The Real Housewives of Atlanta 100th episode special will be missing a few familiar faces, now that former cast members Sheree Whitfield and Lisa Wu have dropped out of the taping.

The show, which was reported to be a special episode in which past and former members of the Atlanta Housewives cast would reflect on their time with the show and spill behind-the-scenes information about their experience, will have to come up with a few new participants now that Sheree and Lisa have reportedly refused to show up unless they’re given some hefty paychecks.

All About the Tea claims that when their financial demands weren’t met by Bravo, Sheree and Lisa decided to walk. While Sheree and Lisa may not be raking in the big bucks for the 100th episode special, they’re not exactly hard up for cash these days, either.

Lisa recently made her triumphant return to reality TV with a role on Hollywood Divas, produced by current Housewives star Todd Tucker, while Sheree has been rumored to be returning to RHOA for the show’s eighth season.
