So Nasty, So Rude: Company Selling New Controversial Kim Kardashian Robbery Inspired Halloween Costume

It hasn’t even been a full week since Kim Kardashian fell victim to a gun point robbery in Paris, where millions of dollars in jewelry was stolen while she was gagged and tied up by five men who have yet to be apprehended.

Well as I am sure many expected, just in time for the Halloween season, an online based company is now selling a controversial Kim inspired costume, which features a wig, fake jewels, and even mouth gag. Via Daily Mail:

The $69.99 costume, which is being advertised on the company’s website, also includes a ‘white short sexy robe’, a long black wig, big sunglasses and a two-foot rope.

It comes just one year after the same company – Costumeish – released a controversial ‘foxy Megyn’s bloody tampon’ outfit, inspired by Donald Trump’s sexist comments to Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Its latest poor-taste creation takes aim at Kim, 35, by attempting to make light of the reality television star’s terrifying robbery in Paris just one week ago during which she was held at gunpoint and was robbed of an estimated $8.5 million of jewelry.

Among the items stolen from the apartment, where she was staying during Paris Fashion Week, was her 20-carat diamond engagement ring.

To demonstrate the costume, the company website features a model wearing the ‘kit’ with her wrists tied up with the rope.

The company has not directly named Kim on its website but described her as ‘America’s goddess of all things glamorous’.

It added: ‘She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth, and hedonism but all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewelry and her peace of mind.

‘This Halloween have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the queen of social media with our sensational “Parisian heist robbery victim costume.”‘

It advised customers that the ring is not the genuine article, with the disclaimer: ‘Costume ring is made of plastic and not worth $4 million dollars.’

Now I love a good costume just like the next guy, especially the controversial ones. This however, is low down, tasteless, tacky, and its far too soon to be making light of such a horrific situation. Alas, we’re sure this costume will be a best seller for the company trying to capitalize off of the incident.
