We told you about the Beyhive bullying Raven Symone on social media after she witnessed seeing one of her idols Lil Kim in concert this past week and shared the experience on social media while addressing her by her long standing title ‘Queen Bee’.
Raven addressed the issue while co-hosting ‘The View’ this week, and stood firm in her love of the rap legend, while also acknowledging that although SHE never brought Beyonce into the conversation she is a big fan and has nothing but love for her.
Beyonce may not have addressed the issue but it looks as though another Knowles is! Solange Knowles took to Twitter and came to the defense of Lil Kim and showed her love via a ‘Crush On You’ inspired photo shoot. She and the rap royal had an exchange on Twitter on Thursday after Solo paid homage to Kim’s fashion style by sharing the photo below with the caption: “Hold on Kimberly I’m coming! Let me grab my pocketbook!”
Kim caught wind of Solo’s honorable shout out and replied “Yess Blue!!! Gorgeous,” to which Solange added, “You da best mama!!!”
She confirmed the look for the photo shoot was inspired by Kim’s classic video ‘Crush On You’ while she then shared a second set of red looks inspired by the trendsetter: “@LilKim and thank youuuuu… (Seriously told the stylist/photographer I want to look like I belong in “Crush on you”) You inspire so much!”
