Her sister may be the Queen Bey, but Solange has a lot of love for the original Queen Bee of Hip Hop and fashion, Lil Kim.
The singer has been very vocal in the past about her love of the Hip Hop titan, including when she paid homage to the trendsetter in a “Crush on You” inspired photo shoot which Solo posted HERE.
She also came to Kim’s defense last year as being the original Queen Bee, after the Beyhive attempted to attack Kim on social media after Raven Symone called Kim the original during an episode of The View.
Well this week, Solo took back to social media to show love once again for Kimmy, who is in the studio working on her highly anticipated fifth studio album due this year. Solo shared a series of snaps of her rocking a red fur and wig and with the caption “@SaintHeron Mardi Gras “Crush on You” Ball ❤”
The snaps came from a “Crush On You” inspired ball hosted by Solo and held on Monday (Feb 8) in honor of Kim and guests were required to wear colorful attire similar to that of Kim’s “Crush On You” video. Get into the snaps and clip below!
