We along with countless other fans have been asking for reboots of some of our fave 90’s show for years!

With the recent announcements that “Full House”, “Married with Children” and a slew of other hit shows and movies from yesteryear are getting rebooted, our nostalgia for show’s such as “Living Single”, “Martin” and others have peeked even higher. Well now according to reports cult classic “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” is in talks to get reboot treatment as well.  Via Complex:

Nostalgia is quickly becoming the strongest force in entertainment, prompting reboots of Full House, Ghostbusters, X-Files, and a grip of other shows and movies from our not-so-distant past. Now the pull is exerting its force on one of our most beloved entities of all time. AFresh Prince of Bel-Airreboot is reportedly on the way, with Will Smithleading the way as executive producer.

TV Linereports Smith’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, is in the very early stages of developing a new show that “puts a new spin on the fish-out-of-water tale while maintaining the spirit of the original series.” The pitch is still in the works, and Smith is expected to start shopping the show in coming weeks along with his not-divorced wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.

No word on premise of the new series, cast, premiere date or network but we are already excited! Who would you cast as a young Fresh Prince??
