Flashback to 2008, Wendy Williams had just come off of a highly successful run on radio and made history as one of the most notorious names on the airwaves. By the fall of that year Williams had landed her own talk show The Wendy Williams Show and fans who followed her from radio were tuned in daily to see if “radio Wendy” would bring the same spice and “say it like you mean it” disposition to her new platform on daytime TV.

One of her first guests, Apprentice star Omarosa came to the show in an attempt to promote her new book at that time titled Bitch Switch however her book was overshadowed by the heavy tension with the host that was to come.

Only seconds on the stage Omarosa instantly went in over an issue she had with a prior comment made about her by the talk show host. She scoffed at Wendy and advised her she would not be disrespected, the daytime host reserved her old radio ways and attempted to re-start the interview on a good note only for it to derail just moments later. When it was all said and done, insults were traded back and forth as the studio looked on and cheered as the battle of the divas ensued.

“Omarosa wished her career was my career,” Williams later told the Associated Press after the interview according to reports. “Omarosa is a delusional, D-list, pathetic woman.”

“I have no reason to invite Omarosa back to the show,” she continued. “That’s done. She had her moment.”
