Fans of veteran R&B group SWV are just hours away from the release of their fifth studio album, Still and I couldn’t be more excited for the follow up to 2012’s classic I Missed Us.
In honor of the new material headed our way, I’ve been rocking out to the ladies even more than usual and decided it’s only fitting to make them this weeks Throwback Thursday.
The ladies have so many songs to choose from but I decided to go back to one my fave albums and tracks of theirs, “Someone” (feat. Puff Daddy) from their 1997 third studio album Release Some Tension.
The songs parent album reached #19 on the Billboard charts while the single was certified gold by the RIAA for sales of over 500,000 copies and the album was also certified gold. Get into the throwback of the day below and be sure to pick up their new album Still tomorrow!
