Designer Tommy Hilfiger stopped by ‘The Wendy Williams Show‘ on Tuesday, Nov. 1 to chat about his legendary brand, how he got started, his influence over the years and more.

During his sit down, Wendy was not afraid of addressing the rumors that went rampant for years that Tommy was racist. You may remember the rumor was that he allegedly said in a past interview that his clothes were not made for Black, or Hispanic people, and that had he known that urban artists such as Aaliyah, Usher, and rappers (who made his label propel in the 90’s) were going to be wearing his clothes, he would not have made them with such good quality.

Tommy has previously denied the claims and addressed them on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ years ago, but today he addresses the matter once more. He also discussed Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Aaliyah and other artists who helped make his brand such a success, as well as his new book that is coming out. Get into the full interview below.
