Just weeks ago it was announced that BET was working on a new series that would tell the story of Don Cornelius‘ life, legacy, and how he birthday the iconic movement ‘Soul Train‘ for the upcoming bio-series ‘American Soul.’

It was also revealed that Kelly Rowland would star as Gladys Knight and Kelly Price was also a part of the cast in the upcoming series. Sinqua Walls, best known for his role on ‘Power,’ will portray the legendary icon in the 10-episode project.

Well on Sunday following the 2018 Soul Train Awards, viewers got a chance to check out the official first trailer for the series. It will air on BET in February 2019, but get into the action packed teaser below.
