Since fainting live on air last October on her show, Wendy Williams and her health has (among other things) has been an ongoing subject of observation. Well on Wednesday, it was revealed that the daytime diva will be cancelling shows for the remainder of the week as she is reportedly dealing with “flu like symptoms.”
The official statement came earlier in the day from her team with Wendy herself following up with a video confirming what’s going on. A representative for the series told US Weekly:
“Wendy is still experiencing flu-like symptoms and so she can rest up and get better, we have decided to cancel tapings the rest of the week,” with the woman herself taking to social media to address her temporary absence.
Shortly thereafter, Wendy took to Instagram.
