As social media and the world continue to express outrage over the modern-day lynching of an unarmed black man, Ahmaud Arbery, who was ambushed and murdered by two racist white supremacists in his own Georgia neighborhood while jogging back in February.
The two murderers had been free and never arrested until this week when video of the murder was released clearly showing the lynching.
Gregory McMichael and his son, Travis McMichael, were both charged with murder and aggravated assault. The men were taken into custody and will be booked into the Glynn County Jail.
The story has taken social media by storm and celebs, politicians, and more have taken to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and the streets to demand justice.
Actress/comedian Amanda Seales is speaking out as well, but specifically to white celebrities who have seemingly jumped on the bandwagon in support of the movement–but refuse to turn on their comments on their social media posts or engage in the weeds of the fight.
The comments in many black celebs pages are flooded with racist banter, and justifications from white followers and white supremicists, spewing hate. Amanda posted and called out celebs such as Justin Timberlake who have turned off their comments.
