August Alsina is on his Omarion-ish and is quite unbothered.

As we told you, the R&B heartthrob sat down with Nick Cannon for his new Amazon Prime series ‘Counsel Culture’ where he opened up about his embracing his sexuality and finding love in his male partner, Zu.

During the sitdown, August touched on his love for his partner and not putting labels or restrictions on love. He also revealed the “greatest gift” God gave him was “exposure” to “so many different types of people, places, (and) things.”

The comment sent ‘Love & Hip Hop’ extra, Akbar V to social media to critique the award-winning singer.

“Jesus ain’t did nun like@this yall play with God tooooo much … he gives us a choice….. how did God do this and he says it’s a sin … so do that means God a liar ? ….. kids don’t believe this God don’t do this … his word don’t comes back void …. if he says don’t do this and someone says he told him to do this that mean you calling God a liar and God is not a liar … now I’m not the one to judge cause we all fall short of his glory but Don’t put God in your worldly foolishness.”

As expected, many of the comments on social media echoed the close-mindedness of Akbar.

Meanwhile, many took to the defense of August while calling Akbar who is known mostly for violence, drama, and social media antics out for her hypocrisy.

August has taken to social media to subtly respond to his detractors and their “negative energy” all while promoting his fragrance line.
