We told you back in August 2014 that there was a confirmed Bad Boys sequel coming our way according to Martin Lawrence who stars in the franchise alongside Will Smith. Well now we have an official release date for Bad Boys 3 and apparently there is fourth installment on the way as well.
Sony announced release dates for 16 films through 2019, including two Bad Boys sequels. Bad Boys 3, which will be directed by Joe Carnahan — not Michael Bay — is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2017, while Bad Boys 4 will put Will back in his normal big blockbuster release weekend on July 3, 2019.
Sony also announced the official release date for the Ghostbusters reboot and a live action Barbie movie. Check out the release date announcements below.
