Mariah Carey, Kirk Franklin, Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg will take the stage at the 2025 BET Awards as they’ve just been announced as recipients of the Ultimate Icon Award(s).
All the the “Icons” will take to the stage to perform except for Jamie Foxx, who will accept the award without performing.
This year’s slate of honorees marks the first time the Ultimate Icon Award has been presented since 2019, when it was awarded to Tyler Perry. Past recipients also include Janet Jackson and Deborah L. Lee.
As previously reported, the show will feature performances from Lil Wayne, Teyana Taylor, GloRilla, Leon Thomas, and more.
As also previously reported, there will be a special tribute to ‘106 & Park’ in honor of the show’s 25th anniversary.
The reunion will bring together former hosts AJ Calloway, Free Marie Wright, Julissa Bermudez, Keshia Chanté, Rocsi Diaz, and Terrence J.
Bow Wow, Amerie, B2K, Jim Jones, Mya, T.I. and other surprises are set to tale place during the tribute.
