BET+ is gearing up for a busy summer of dope programming and we are so here for all of it!
This week, the streaming service unveiled its Summer 2022 release schedule that features the returns of some of their current shows, the debuts of some new ones, and one very highly-anticipated reunion special!
The network announced the official premiere dates for the previously announced and long-overdue ‘Martin’ reunion and new seasons of ‘All the Queen’s Men,’ ‘Family Business,’ and ‘The Ms. Pat Show’ and other fan faves.
The most anticipated of course is the ‘Martin: The Reunion’ which will be a 90-minute special hosted by comedian Affion Crockett. The reunion will take fans back to the iconic living room set and reunites the original cast including Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold, and Carly Anthony Payne II.
The cast will relive their iconic moments, history, and memories from the Fox sitcom, which ran for five seasons between 1992 and 1997. According to BET+, the retrospective will be complete with “musical performances and drop-ins by celebrity super fans,” as the stars revisit “hilarious moments, iconic characters… and pay an emotional tribute to the late, great Tommy Ford.”
