After taking home awards for Best Music Video (‘Brown Skin Girl‘), Best Rap Song (‘Savage’), Best Rap Performance (‘Savage’), Beyonce made Grammy history when she took home Best R&B Performance (‘Black Parade’) making her the most awarded female artist in Grammy history.
The win now puts her Grammy award total at 28. She now passes Alison Krauss for the most Grammy wins ever by a female artist and has the most Grammys of any singer, male or female.
She’s also tied with Quincy Jones for second-most Grammy wins ever overall. The legendary producer has won 28 Grammys, while late Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti holds the all-time record with 31 Grammys to his name.
